Joshua French, the visionary founder and owner of La Costiera Galleria, carries a legacy deeply rooted in artistic passion and a cherished family heritage from the Florida Panhandle. Inspired by their extensive global travels, Joshua and his wife brought to life La Costiera Galleria—a harmonious blend of European elegance, Southern charm and refined sophistication, offering an enriching cultural experience in the heart of 30A.
Joshua's journey as a master artist began at the age of three, when his innate talent for intricate drawings became unmistakable. Over three decades, he has cultivated his skills, studying the timeless works of European Masters such as Monet, Michelangelo and Da Vinci. His deep fascination with the human form, combined with his mastery of anatomy, muscle structure, and the interplay of light and shadow, breathes depth, symmetry and timeless beauty into his creations.
MEET THE ARTIST
From an early age, Joshua was immersed in the world of luxury design, learning firsthand from his parents, owners of a prestigious interior design firm. Accompanying them to luxury estates and high-end resorts, he gained an intuitive understanding of harmonizing colors, textures and elements to create visually stunning and balanced spaces. His father’s teachings on Feng Shui further enriched his understanding of how environments can promote harmony and positive energy—a philosophy Joshua seamlessly incorporates into both his artwork and the gallery space.
Joshua’s professional journey includes his role as manager of one of the top-rated Painting with a Twist studios, where he trained artists and guided thousands of customers through unforgettable, joy-filled experiences. These moments strengthened his connection to the community and deepened his passion for making art an engaging, uplifting and accessible experience for everyone.
With La Costiera Galleria, Joshua and his wife desired to bring European-inspired culture and elegance to 30A.
